Summary

The 2009 MKS is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sedan, available in two trims, the FWD and the AWD. Upon introduction, the FWD is equipped with a standard 3.7-liter, V6, 273-horsepower engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 24-mpg on the highway. The AWD is equipped with a standard 3.7-liter, V6, 273-horsepower engine that achieves 16-mpg in the city and 23-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims. The 2009 MKS is all-new for 2009.

Attractive exterior, comfortable seats, feature level

Cons:Lacks brand identity, some rough edges and some cheap interior bits

Good styling, comfort, and features, but lacks the polish of some competitors.
