2012 Doomsday is a 2008 direct-to-DVD doomsday film produced by The Asylum and released via its Faith Films label. Although the title suggests the Roland Emmerich film 2012, the film borrows heavily from The Apocalypse, an earlier film by The Asylum also depicting the end of the world. The film is an imagining of the events predicted to occur in 2012 with elements from the Book of Revelations.
