The Washington Redskins are a professional American football team and a member of the East Division of the National Football Conference in the National Football League . Its headquarters and training facility are at Redskin Park in Ashburn, Virginia. Prince George's County and D.C. officials,... however, have been trying to lure the Redskins back to their respective area's for training camp at either RFK Stadium or Bowie State University. The Redskins have played more than 1,000 games since 1932. The Redskins have won five NFL Championships . The franchise has captured 10 NFL divisional titles and six NFL conference championships. The Redskins won the 1937 and 1942 Championship games, as well as Super Bowls XVII, XXII, and XXVI. They also played in, and lost, the 1936, 1940, 1943, and 1945 Championship games, as well as Super Bowls VII and XVIII. They have made 22 postseason appearances, and have an overall postseason record of 23 wins and 17 losses. Only four teams have appeared in more Super Bowls than the Redskins: the Pittsburgh Steelers , Dallas Cowboys , New England Patriots , and Denver Broncos .

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln is a public research university located in the city of Lincoln in the US state of Nebraska. The "Nebraska method" of ecological study developed here during this time, which pioneered grassland ecology and laid the foundation for research in theoretical ecology for the rest of the 20th century. The university is organized into eight colleges, located on two campuses in Lincoln with over 100 classroom buildings and research facilities. Its athletic program, called the Cornhuskers, is a member of the Big Ten Conference.

Hastings is a city in and the county seat of Adams County, Nebraska, United States. It is the principal city of the Hastings, Nebraska Micropolitan Statistical Area, which consists of Adams and Clay counties. The population was 24,907 at the 2010 census. Hastings was founded in 1872 at the intersection of the Burlington and Missouri River Railroad and the St. Joseph and Denver City Railroad. It was named for Colonel D.T. Hastings of the St. Joseph and Grand Island Railroad, which built a line from Hastings to Grand Island.
