The Los Angeles Clippers is a basketball team in Los Angeles, California. They play in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the National Basketball Association . The club's home games are played at Staples Center, an arena shared with the Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA, the Los Angeles... Sparks of the Women's National Basketball Association , and the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League . The team has only had six winning seasons in its entire history, and only two since moving to Los Angeles in 1984. They have never won a division title or gotten past the second round of the NBA playoffs. In the team's first season in San Diego, it posted a winning record, going 43-39 under new head coach Gene Shue. However, that record was not good enough to advance to the post-season, as it was two games out of the final playoff spot. As it turned out, it would be the Clippers' last winning season for 13 years. It was also in that first season in Southern California that long-time announcer Ralph Lawler began his association with the club. Randy Smith had another solid season, averaging 20.5 points per game, finishing second behind World B.

Perry is a city in Houston county in the U.S. state of Georgia. It is part of the Warner Robins, Georgia Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 9,600 at the 2000 census. This town is the county seat of Houston County . The city is in the Macon metropolitan area. Founded in 1823 as... Wattsville, the town was located near the center of Houston County and served as its courthouse. The name was soon changed to honor Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, a hero of the War of 1812. The Georgia General Assembly incorporated the town on December 9, 1824. The original city limit was a circle, one mile in diameter, except where bounded on the north by Big Indian Creek. Perry is perhaps best known as the location of the annual Georgia National Fair. Ante-bellum industry in Perry included gristmills, sawmills, and cotton gins. The Houston Home Journal began publishing in 1870. Robins Air Force Base in nearby Warner Robins has been a significant employer since World War II. Other manufacturers in the city have included Frito-Lay, Heileman Brewing Co., and Cemex, Inc. .
