Alex Benjamin Barron is an American football offensive tackle who is currently a free agent. He played college football for Florida State University. He was selected with the 19th overall pick of the 2005 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams. He has also been a member of the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints. Barron was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He attended Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School, and was a two-sport star in football and basketball.
