Frank Gustave Zarb is an American businessman and former Republican politician. He is perhaps best known as the chairman of the NASDAQ stock... exchange during the dot-com boom of the late 1990s. He is also known for his role as the "Energy Czar" under President Gerald Ford during the 1970s energy crisis. Frank Zarb was born to Maltese immigrant parents Gustave Zarb and Rosemary Zarb in Brooklyn, New York. In 1957 he received his Bachelor of Business Administration at Hofstra University, then known as Hofstra College, on Long Island. Following his time in the army, he went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from Hofstra in 1962. Following a term of service in the army from 1957 to 1958, Frank started at CITGO, then known as Cities Service Oil Co, as a management trainee. Leaving that post in 1962, he became a general partner at Goodbody and Company. In 1969 he became the executive vice president of CBWL-Hayden Stone. In 1971 Frank went into public service, serving first as Assistant Secretary of Labor , then as Associate Director of the Office of Management and Budget .

Martin Stuart "Marty" Feldstein is an economist. He is currently the George F. Baker Professor of Economics at Harvard University, and the president... emeritus of the National Bureau of Economic Research . He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the NBER from 1978 through 2008. From 1982 to 1984, Feldstein served as chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers and as chief economic advisor to President Ronald Reagan . He has also been a member of the Washington-based financial advisory body the Group of Thirty since 2003. Feldstein was born in New York City and graduated from South Side High School in Rockville Centre, New York. He completed his undergraduate education at Harvard University and then attended University of Oxford . He was also a Fellow of Nuffield College, Oxford from 1964 to 1967.

Ellen V. Futter is president of the American Museum of Natural History. She previously served as president of Barnard College for 13 years. Futter... was born in New York City and attended high school in Port Washington, New York. She spent two years at the University of Wisconsin–Madison before transferring to Barnard College, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa magna cum laude in 1971. She was elected as a student representative to the Barnard's board of trustees in 1971 and was subsequently elected to full membership to complete the term of Arthur Goldberg, former Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. Futter earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School in 1974. Futter began her career as an associate at the Wall Street law firm of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, where she practiced corporate law. In 1980, Futter took a leave of absence from Milbank, Tweed to serve as Barnard's acting president for one year. At the end of that period, she was appointed president of the college and served in that capacity until 1993 when she joined the American Museum of Natural History.
