Overview
Juggle.com, an online encyclopedia and reference guide, is looking for an expert analytical statistician with extensive experience working with online businesses. We are a young and vibrant company seeking to expand our presence and looking for new team members to help us grow. A truly effective analytical mind is hard to find; an analytical statistician who can also clearly present his or her findings, alongside solutions to any issues found, is priceless. What We Are Looking For
We at Juggle.com are looking for an analytical statistician with comprehensive skills in data mining, statistical modeling, and other applications. You should be a motivated self-starter comfortable setting your own goals and managing your own tasks, but you should also be a team player willing to help out and expand the knowledge of our current team while learning new skills yourself.
Your Skills and Responsibilities
You will be primarily working with our online marketing department, examining metrics and providing models that can predict campaign performance while spotting areas for improvement. You should be:
- In possession of at least a Bachelors degree in statistics, computer science or a related field (Masters degree preferred but not required)
- Experienced in classifier development and machine learning techniques
- Knowledgeable about feature extraction and selection
- A predictive modeling expert (experience in logistics regression or support vector machines)
- An experienced user of SAS, SPSS, KXEN or comparable statistical modeling tools
- Extremely detail-oriented and in possession of excellent communication skills
Prior experience in Web marketing analytics is a definite plus.
