The Alaska Aviation Heritage Museum is located in Anchorage, Alaska. Its mission is to preserve, display, and honor Alaska's aviation heritage, by... preserving and displaying historic aircraft, artifacts, and memorabilia, and to foster public interest in aviation and its history. The museum has several aircraft on display, a restoration hangar, flight simulators, two theatres, and a Hall of Fame. It provides an emphasis on historic aircraft, aviation artifacts, and memorabilia that contributed to the development and progress of aviation in Alaska.

Maurice Robert "Mike" Gravel is a former Democratic United States Senator from Alaska, who served two terms from 1969 to 1981, and a former... candidate in the 2008 presidential election. Born and raised in Springfield, Massachusetts to French-Canadian immigrant parents, Gravel served in the United States Army in West Germany and graduated from Columbia University. He moved to Alaska in the late 1950s, becoming a real estate developer and entering politics. He served in the Alaska House of Representatives from 1963 to 1966 and became its Speaker of the House. Gravel was elected to the United States Senate in 1968. As Senator, Gravel became nationally known for his forceful but unsuccessful attempts to end the draft during the Vietnam War and for putting the Pentagon Papers into the public record in 1971 at risk to himself. He conducted an unusual campaign for the Democratic nomination for Vice President of the United States in 1972, and then played a crucial role in getting Congressional approval for the Trans-Alaska pipeline in 1973.

Scott Carlos Gomez is an American ice hockey center of both Mexican and Colombian descent, currently playing for the Montreal Canadiens of the... National Hockey League . He has also played with the New Jersey Devils and New York Rangers. In the 1998 NHL Entry Draft, Scott Gomez was selected with the 27th pick of the first round by the New Jersey Devils. His father is Carlos, a Mexican-American, and his mother is Dalia, a Colombian-American. At the time, he was playing for the Tri-City Americans of the WHL, and had just been named to the WHL's All-Rookie Team. In the season after he was drafted, he justified the Devils' decision by scoring 108 points in 58 games for the Americans. This earned him a spot on the WHL West First All-Star Team. The year before, Gomez led the South Surrey Eagles of the Tier II Junior "A" British Columbia Hockey League to the Gold medal game of the 1997 Royal Bank Cup against the hometown Summerside Western Capitals, but Gomez and his South Surrey Eagles were defeated 4-3.

He was born in Anchorage, Alaska and his middle name is Thomas. Pain has had an 15-year career with 20 World Cup podium finishes, 3 World Championship medals, and an Olympic silver medal. This included winning the men's Skeleton World Cup overall title twice . He first represented Canada at the 2002 Olympic Winter games finishing 6th, where Skeleton returned after a 54 year hiatus. Then Pain went on to compete in the 2006 Winter Olympics where he finished with a silver medal behind fellow Canadian Duff Gibson. Kikkan Randall is an American cross-country skier from Anchorage, Alaska. She is the niece of former cross-country skiing Olympians Betsy Haines ... and her brother, Chris Haines . She won the silver medal in the individual sprint at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec, becoming the first American woman to medal in cross country skiing at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. Randall made her Olympic debut as a 19-year-old at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and finished 44th in the inaugural Olympic individual sprint. In January 2006, Randall returned to Soldier Hollow, Utah, the site of the 2002 Olympic cross-country competition, and won national titles in the 5-kilometer freestyle, the 10-km classical and the sprint. At the 2005 World Championships in Oberstdorf, Germany, she finished 30th in the individual sprint. Randall's sixth-place finish in the sprint at the 2001 Junior World Championships was the best ever result by an American woman. At the 2006 Winter Olympics, Randall finished ninth in the Olympic Sprint, the best ever Olympic result in cross-country skiing by an American woman.

Irene Bedard's first role was as Mary Crow Dog in the television production Lakota Woman: Siege at Wounded Knee, which depicted the 1970s standoff between police and Native Americans at Wounded Knee, South Dakota. She is probably best known as the voice of the eponymous heroine in the Disney animated film Pocahontas and its direct-to-video sequel Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World. Kenneth M. "Kenny" Stasiowski is an American former professional wrestler. He is best known for his stint with World Championship Wrestling, where... he performed under the ring name Kenny Kaos and wrestled as a part of the tag team High Voltage with partner Robbie Rage. During his stint in WCW, Stasiowski became a one time World Tag Team Champion with Rick Steiner. After making his professional wrestling debut in 1995, Stasiowski was signed to a contract by World Championship Wrestling in 1996. He made his WCW debut on the March 2, 1996 episode of Saturday Night under the ring name Kenny Shaw, where he and The Shadow lost to Loch Ness in a handicap match. Fowlloing this, Stasiowski started training in the Power Plant, WCW's training facility, where he formed a tag team alongside Robert Knapik. Now renamed to Kenny Kaos and Robbie Rage respectively, the team was named High Voltage and made their debut at the April 27 house show in a losing effort to The State Patrol . High Voltage then made their televised debut on the June 3 episode of Nitro in a losing effort to the Faces of Fear .
