Cherie Bennett is an American novelist, actress, director, playwright, newspaper columnist, singer, and television writer on the CBS Daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless. Obviously, writing was not Bennett's early focus. Sometimes known as the "Big and Tall Barbie Doll", she attended... Wayne State University, and then the University of Michigan in the early 1980s, as a musical theater major. She worked frequently as an actress, doing national musical tours, regional theater productions including Mark Medoff's When You Comin' Back, Red Ryder? and a well-reviewed turn in the off-Broadway revival of Tennessee Williams' Twenty-Seven Wagons Full of Cotton. She headed her own improv comedy trio, Zaniac, and performed as a vocalist, singing backup for John Mellencamp and in her play, Honk Tonk Angels. Bennett's favorite non-writing activities are reading , film, theater, cooking, politics, and Internet shopping. She lives in Los Angeles with her son. Her pseudonyms are C.J. Anders, and Carrie Austen. Along with other writers, she has been linked to Zoey Dean as well.

Jeff Gottesfeld is an American essayist, novelist, and screen and television writer. Jeff Gottesfeld grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey, attended Teaneck High School, Colby College, and then the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he was president of his class and a member of the law... review. But he only practiced law for less than a year before turning to publishing and writing as a career. Gottesfeld has written freelance for numerous magazines and newspapers, and continues to publish essays on such subjects as the ongoing controversy over the Confederate flag, immigration policy, and trends in young adult fiction. Among his favorite authors are Carson McCullers, Flannery O'Connor, Herman Wouk, and George Orwell. He is a former member of the executive board of the United Jewish Federation of Utah. He lives in Los Angeles, and has lived of late in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is the eldest of four children; father is a stockbroker and his mother a psychotherapist.
