Naomi Judd is an American country music singer, songwriter, and activist. She was born Diana Ellen Judd to Charles Glen Judd and his wife Pauline ... Judd on January 11, 1946, in Ashland, Kentucky. Her father owned a gas station; her mother started out as a homemaker but later became a riverboat cook. Her first child, Christina Ciminella , was born when she was only 18. After the birth of her daughter Ashley and the end of her marriage to Michael Ciminella, Judd brought up both daughters as a single parent, first going to nursing school but later beginning a successful singing career with daughter Wynonna. Her second marriage was on May 6, 1989, to Larry Strickland of the Palmetto State Quartet. They have no children together. With her daughter, Wynonna Judd, Naomi formed the highly successful singing duo known as The Judds. As country music's most famous mother–daughter team, The Judds scored twenty top-10 hits and went undefeated for eight consecutive years at all three major country music awards shows.

Jillian Faye Fletcher is an American professional wrestler who is best known for her tenure in World Wrestling Entertainment under the ring name... Jillian Hall or simply Jillian. She also worked as a trainer in WWE's developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling. After debuting in 1998, Fletcher worked on the independent circuit under the name Macaela Mercedes. She won numerous championships, before beginning to work for Ohio Valley Wrestling in 2003 under the name Jillian Hall. She debuted on WWE's SmackDown brand as the "fixer" for the MNM faction. After leaving MNM, she became John "Bradshaw" Layfield's "image consultant", and managed him to the WWE United States Championship at WrestleMania 22. In February 2007, Hall developed an in-ring persona as a tone-deaf Diva. In June 2007, she was drafted to Raw, where she participated in numerous tag team matches after allying with Melina. In October 2009, she won the WWE Divas Championship, but lost it to Melina the same night. Hall was released from her WWE contract in November 2010. Fletcher was trained by Dave Finlay at his professional wrestling school.

Terrence Vaughan Mann is an American actor, director, singer, songwriter and dancer who has been prominent on the Broadway stage for the past three... decades. He is a distinguished professor in musical theater at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina. Mann was born Terrence Vaughan Mann in Ashland, Kentucky, the eldest son of Helen Mann and Charles Mann. Mann's mother was a Concert pianist, and his father sang in a barbershop quartet. Music was always a part of his growing up, so singing came naturally to him. But it was the multiple pleasures of the stage that drew him to the world of theater. In a recent interview with the Hartford Courant, in his own words, "When I was doing the junior class play — it was called 'In Deadly Earnest' — at the end of a scene, the script said, 'They kiss.' It was then that I honestly thought, 'I'm going to be in the theater!' I was fascinated with having words put in my mouth and that someone would say something back to me that would get us to a moment where we ended up in a kiss.

Allison Anders is an American film and television director. Anders has directed many independent films, on which she frequently collaborates with... fellow UCLA film school graduate Kurt Voss. According to an article in Creative a series of adventures that often ended in jails and foster homes—experiences she credits with giving her raw inspiration for her cinematic portraits of rural Americans." At eighteen, she moved to England, then returned to Los Angeles to raise her first child. She attended the UCLA School of Theater Film and Television and was granted a Nicholl Fellowship by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Her screenplay "Lost Highway" also earned her a Samuel Goldwyn Writing Award. Her first film effort co-written and co-directed by Kurt Voss and Dean Lent was the punk music-heavy Border Radio, which was nominated for Best Feature of 1989 by the Independent Feature Project. Anders followed up with her popular 1992 film Gas Food Lodging, for which she won a New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best New Director, and for which actress Fairuza Balk won an Independent Spirit Award.

Don Allen "Donnie" Robinson , is a former Major League Baseball pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants, California Angels, and... Philadelphia Phillies from 1978 through 1992. Nicknamed "The Caveman," Robinson's career record was 109–106 with a 3.79 ERA. Robinson was regarded as one of the best-hitting pitchers during his time, winning three Silver Slugger Awards in 1982, 1989, and 1990. He hit 13 home runs in his career. He was also awarded the Hutch Award in 1984. On April 17, 1987, he gave up Mike Schmidt's 500th career home run. His parents, Donald and Priscilla Robinson reside in the city of Kenova, WV and their son Don resides in the state of Florida. In 1990, Robinson became the first pitcher to hit a pinch-hit home run since 1971 against the San Diego Padres; the same year, he lost the first ever no-hitter at Veteran's Stadium to the Phillies' Terry Mulholland 6–0.

Alberta Vaughn was an American actress in silent motion pictures and early Western sound films. She appeared in some 130 motion pictures. Born in... Ashland, Kentucky, Vaughn was a selected as a WAMAPS Baby Star along with Clara Bow and Dorothy Mackaill in 1924. Her movie career began in 1921 and continued until 1935. She often co-starred with actor Al Cook in comedies. She made Randy Rides Again with John Wayne. In 1932, she was a member of the cast of Intermission, a play by Irving Kaye Davis in September 1932. The production opened in San Francisco, California and co-starred Madge Bellamy and Judith Voselli. Vaughn made her last onscreen appearance in the 1935 film The Live Wire opposite Richard Talmadge. In 1926, Vaughn became engaged to actor and leading man Grant Withers. After announcing their engagement in October 1929, Vaughn traveled to New York to film some talking sequences for a movie she was filming in Hollywood. Lait's broke off the engagement after he discovered Vaughn went out with friends to nightclubs in New York.
