Assassin's Creed

An action-adventure game can be defined as a game with a mix of elements from an action game and an adventure game, especially crucial elements like... puzzles.  Action-adventures require many of the same physical skills as action games, but also offer a storyline, numerous characters, an inventory system, dialog, and other features of adventure games.  They are faster-paced than pure adventure games, because they include both physical and conceptual challenges.  Action-adventure games normally include a combination of a series complex story elements made into an audio-visual display for players that is heavily reliant upon the player character's movement which affects the flow of the game.  Some examples of action-adventure games include the The Legend of Zelda, and Tomb Raider series.

Jade Raymond is a Canadian video game executive and the Managing Director of Ubisoft Toronto. Jade Raymond is a graduate from Marianopolis College and enrolled in McGill University's computer science program. Her first post-university job was as a programmer for Sony, where she eventually helped in the creation of Sony Online's first Research and Development group. This led to Electronic Arts where she worked as a producer on The Sims Online.... In 2004, she started working for Ubisoft Montreal, where she was appointed as producer of Assassin's Creed. Raymond later joined the G4 program The Electric Playground as a correspondent, working with Victor Lucas, Tommy Tallarico and Julie Stoffer. She volunteers for a non-profit organization called LOVE, dedicated to ending violence among youth in Canada. Raymond considers herself an avid gamer. In July 2009, Jade was named Managing Director of Ubisoft Toronto studio. She currently lives in Toronto with her husband and daughter.

As of now, it is the third largest independent game publisher in Europe, and... the third largest in the United States. The company's largest development studio is Ubisoft Montreal, which currently employs more than 1,700 people. Yves Guillemot, a founding brother, was the chairman and CEO. As for 2008–2009 fiscal year, Ubisoft's revenue was €1.058 billion, reaching the 1 billion euro milestone for the first time in its history. Ubisoft has created its own film division called Ubisoft Motion Pictures which will create shows and films based on its games. The five brothers of the Guillemot family founded Ubisoft as a computer game publisher in March 1986 in France . The name is a play on words, "Ubi" meaning "where" in Latin -- thus, UbiSoft is 'Softwhere' or 'Software'. Yves Guillemot soon made deals with Electronic Arts, Sierra On-Line, and MicroProse to distribute their games in France.
