Bastyr University is a natural health arts and sciences university located in Kenmore, Washington. It offers degrees in naturopathic medicine, acupuncture and Oriental medicine, nutrition, herbal sciences, exercise science, psychology, midwifery and other programs. Its main campus is on a forested property just north of Seattle, and its second campus will open in San Diego, California, in September 2012. Bastyr's programs emphasize the healing power of nature and a holistic approach to health.
