Harriet Hammond was an American actress of the silent era. She appeared in 47 films between 1918 and 1930. She was born in Bay City, Michigan and... died in Valley Center, California. Hammond, who was appearing in prominent roles in the Mack Sennett comedy features, was born in Kansas but had lived in Los Angeles, Calif., since her early childhood and was a graduate of Los Angeles High Schools. When scarcely out of high school she conceived the idea of becoming a concert pianist. The strain of six hours a day practice, however, proved too severe, and her health broke down. Starting as one of the Sennett Bathing Beauties she simultaneously developed great power as a comedienne, and the Sennett figure. Miss Hammond appeared in "Gee Whiz!" and "By Golly." She was a blond, had blue eyes and weighed a hundred and fifteen pounds. Miss Hammond was five feet seven inches high, and was a splendid athlete, excelling in water sports.

Tyler McVey was an American character actor. McVey was born in Bay City on Saginaw Bay in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. His first screen role,... uncredited, came at the age of 39 in 1951, when he portrayed Brady in the The Day the Earth Stood Still. He was uncredited in two 1953 military films, From Here to Eternity as Major Stern and in Mission over Korea as Colonel Colton. He made one of his first television appearances in a 1953 episode of Four Star Playhouse. During the 1950s, McVey guest starred in episodes of The Restless Gun, Dragnet, The Lone Ranger, I Love Lucy, Hallmark Hall of Fame, My Friend Flicka, Highway Patrol, It's a Great Life, Annie Oakley, and The Man and the Challenge. From 1953 to 1956, he guest starred on the CBS educational series You Are There, narrated by Walter Cronkite. From 1959 to 1960, McVey portrayed Major General Norgath in the CBS series Men Into Space. In 1964, McVey was cast as General Hardesty in the political thriller film Seven Days in May.

Betsy Brandt is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Marie Schrader in Breaking Bad. Brandt is a native of Bay City, Michigan.... Betsy graduated from Western High School in 1991. Brandt received her BFA in acting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She also studied theatre at Harvard University , as well as at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow. In theatre, Brandt has acted in performances of Much Ado About Nothing with the Arizona Theatre Company, Control+Alt+Delete with the San Jose Repertory Theatre, Beth Henley's Ridiculous Fraud, Julia Cho's The Language Archive with South Coast Repertory, and Next Fall with Geffen Playhouse She had guest roles on the television programs Without a Trace , Judging Amy, ER, Boston Legal, The Practice and NCIS. She is currently featured in the AMC drama series Breaking Bad as Marie Schrader. Brandt read for three different roles before being offered the part of Marie. Her film credits include Shelf Life, Confidence and Memphis Bound and Gagged. Brandt is married and has two children.
