Joshua "J. D." Wilkes , and now a resident of Paducah, Kentucky, is an American visual artist, musician, and amateur filmmaker. Wilkes is a Kentucky... Colonel, an honorable title bestowed upon those with a connection to, or are famous residents of Kentucky, by the state's Governor. He is also an accomplished harmonica player, having recorded for such artists as Merle Haggard, John Carter Cash, Mike Patton, and Hank Williams III. He can also be spotted playing harmonica for Hank Williams III in the 2004 "American Masters" film Hank Williams: Honky Tonk Blues. Wilkes is known as the founder and only remaining original member of the Legendary Shack Shakers, formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in the late 90's. Wilkes' contributions to visual art include many sideshow banners and comic strips. His "Head Cheese" strip was seen in the Nashville Metromix weekly from 2005-2008. Other works by Wilkes have been seen in Juxtapoz, Snicker, ALARM Magazine, and TopShelfComix.com. Wilkes illustrated a book titled "Spookiest Stories Ever" for the University Press of Kentucky, released in 2010.

Drew Tate is a professional American and Canadian football quarterback for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League. He was signed by... the St. Louis Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played college football at Iowa. Tate has also played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Tate attended Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, Texas, where he was coached there by his stepfather Dick Olin and had a record breaking career. He ranks first in the Texas high school football record book in career pass attempts and completions, ahead of Graham Harrell. He also ranks second in career passing yards with 12,183, behind Harrell , and third in career touchdown passes with 113, behind Harrell and Colt McCoy . He originally committed to Texas A&M, but de-committed after R. C. Slocum was replaced with Dennis Franchione. Tate also noted that he would likely sit behind established starter Reggie McNeal, so he chose to play for the University of Iowa under coach Kirk Ferentz. He played in the 2003 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. At a game well-attended by Iowa fans in Orlando, Florida, the Hawkeye defense played strong against the LSU offense.

Robert Gaston "Bobby" Fuller was an American rock singer, songwriter, and guitar player best known for his singles "I Fought the Law" and "Love's... Made a Fool of You," recorded with his mid-1960s group, the Bobby Fuller Four. Born in Baytown, Texas, Fuller moved as a small child to Salt Lake City, Utah where he remained until 1956, when he and his family moved to El Paso, Texas. His father got a job at El Paso Natural Gas at that time. It was the same year that Elvis Presley became popular, and Bobby Fuller, then 12 going on 13, became mesmerized by the new rock and roll sound. He idolized fellow West Texan Buddy Holly , and pursued his own music career as a vocalist and guitarist. During the early 1960s, he played in clubs and bars in El Paso, and he recorded on independent record labels in Texas with a constantly changing line-up. The only constant band members were Fuller and his younger brother, Randy Fuller on bass.
