Edward W. "Ed" Scott, Jr. is an American businessman, philanthropist, and former senior United States government official. Along with Bill Coleman and Alfred Chuang, he founded enterprise software company BEA Systems. Scott worked for the United States government for seventeen years. Mr. Scott... served seven Attorneys General , reaching the position of Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Administration in the Office of Management and Finance in the Department of Justice. He also served three Secretaries of Transportation. During the Carter administration, Scott served as an Assistant Secretary for Administration in the Department of Transportation and was a recipient of the Presidential Rank Award of Distinguished Executive as well as the William A. Jump Memorial Foundation Meritorious Award for Exemplary Achievement in Public Administration. After leaving government service, Scott entered the technology industry, working for Computer Consoles Inc., Pyramid Technology and Sun Microsystems where he co-founded Sun Federal, which provided services to the U.S. government.

Alfred S. Chuang was the founder, chairman, CEO and president of BEA Systems until it was purchased by Oracle in April 2008. Prior to founding BEA, Chuang worked at Sun Microsystems. Chuang received a B.S. in computer science from the University of San Francisco and a master's degree in computer... science with specialization in distributed data management from the University of California, Davis. His graduate thesis, "Table-Tabular Data Objects and their Use in Table Editing", remains one of California State Library's most frequently used reference materials on relational database development. Chuang is an alumnus of Wah Yan College, Hong Kong. Since 2008, Chuang has been the founder and CEO of a startup called Magnet Systems, Inc. On April 27, 2011 Magnet Systems, Inc. received $12.6 million of financing in their Series A round from investment firm Andreessen Horowitz.

Carol Ann Bartz is an American business executive, the former president and CEO of the Internet services company Yahoo!, and former chairman,... president, and CEO at architectural and engineering design software company Autodesk. Bartz was born in Winona, Minnesota. Her mother, Shirley Bartz, died when Carol was eight years old. A few years later, she and her younger brother Jim moved from Minnesota to the home of their grandmother, Alice Schwartz, on a dairy farm near Alma, Wisconsin. In high school, Bartz did well in mathematics, and was also homecoming queen. She began college at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri, and subsequently transferred to the University of Wisconsin–Madison where she received a bachelor's degree in computer science in 1971. While in college, she supported herself as a cocktail waitress. Carol Bartz also has two half brothers and two half sisters all living in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Mr. Bruce Pasternack served as senior vice president and managing partner at Booz Allen Hamilton from 1976 – 2005, where he was the founding... partner of the company’s global Organization and Strategic Leadership Center, led its San Francisco and Silicon Valley business and was a member of the board of directors.
