Berwyn is a city in Cook County, Illinois, co-existent with Berwyn Township, which was formed in 1908 after breaking off from Cicero Township. As of the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 56,657 . As of the census of 2000, there were 54,016 people, 19,702 households, and 12,924 families residing in the city.
