Bethany is a town in Brooke County, West Virginia, United States. It is part of the Weirton–Steubenville, WV-OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,036 at the 2010 census. The Town of Bethany is home to Bethany College. The Bethany Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
