Black is a 2005 Indian film in Hindi and Indian English directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Black revolves around a blind and deaf girl, and her relationship with her teacher who himself later develops Alzheimer's disease. The film is a creative adaptation of the 1962 Hollywood film The Miracle Worker starring Anne Bancroft and Patty Duke directed by Arthur Penn.
