Blind Faith is a 1998 film starring Charles S. Dutton, Courtney B. Vance, and Lonette McKee. Black lawyer John Williams defends his nephew, who is charged with murdering a white youth in 1957. Dutton was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Miniseries or Television Movie and an Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Male for his role in the film, and Vance was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead. The film itself was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Screenplay.
