With approximately 800 students and 125 faculty members, the Law School is one of the largest of BC's seven graduate and professional schools. Admission to BC Law is among the most selective in the United States, with 18% of applicants being accepted in 2010. 29% of the students are AHANA. Reflecting its Jesuit heritage, BC Law has established programs in human rights, social justice and public interest law. Its faculty played a part in unsuccessfully arguing for the repeal of the Solomon Amendment, presenting oral arguments before the United States Supreme Court in Rumsfeld v. FAIR. Considered a highly prestigious American law school, BC Law graduates are highly recruited in New England. The Boston College School of Theology and Ministry in Brighton, Massachusetts, United States is the graduate divinity school of Boston College and an... ecclesiastical faculty of theology that trains men and women, both lay and religious, for service, especially within the Roman Catholic Church. The School is operated by the Jesuits. Founded in 1922 as Weston College in the Massachusetts town of Weston, the school was integrated into Boston College in 1959. In 1974, Weston College became independent but coordinated with Boston College under the Boston Theological Institute. In 1975, Weston College was renamed to Weston School of Theology and operated from facilities in Cambridge, Massachusetts in a cooperative arrangement with the Episcopal Divinity School. In 1994, the school was renamed to Weston Jesuit School of Theology. In December 2004, Boston College announced plans to create a School of Theology and Ministry by merging the Institute for Religious Education and Pastoral Ministry and the Weston Jesuit School of Theology.

The Lynch School of Education is a professional school of Boston College. The Lynch School of Education offers graduate and undergraduate programs... in education, psychology, and human development. The Lynch School was formally dedicated as the Carolyn A. and Peter S. Lynch School of Education on November 2, 2000. Peter Lynch is a BC graduate and one of the country’s financial investors. Carolyn Lynch is a graduate and trustee of the University of Pennsylvania and president of the Lynch Foundation. LSOE was founded in 1952. The School has grown to 60 full-time faculty members, more than 35 part-time faculty members and another 60 researchers, 800 undergraduate students and 1,000 graduate students, and more than 25 academic programs in education, human development, and psychology. There are several research groups operating within the School, and students often participate in collaborative projects. Major research projects are conducted under the auspices of the six major centers and institutes located in the Lynch School, and most faculty members employ graduate research assistants.

Established in 1938, The Wallace E. Carroll School of Management, or "CSOM", as it is colloquially known, is the business school of Boston College,... in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, United States. The school offers B.S., M.B.A., Ph.D degrees, in addition to M.S. degrees in both finance and accounting, along with joint degree programs with Boston College's other schools. The Carroll School of Management was founded as the "College of Business Administration" in 1938, as Boston College was fulfilling the obligations of its university charter. Its main building, Fulton Hall, was built in the late 1940s to accommodate it. Prospective CSOM candidates apply directly to the school during their senior year of high school, either through the Early Action or Regular Decision process. The acceptance rate for the Carroll School of Management was 25% for the Class of 2012, and the total of undergraduate business applicants was 6,729. 28% of admitted CSOM applicants chose to enroll in the school. Students of Boston College's other undergraduate divisions may transfer into CSOM, through a rigorous application process. However, it must be noted that very few transfer applicants are approved.

Thomas Phillip "Tip" O'Neill, Jr. was an American politician. O'Neill was an outspoken liberal Democrat and influential member of the U.S. Congress,... serving in the House of Representatives for 34 years and representing two congressional districts in Massachusetts.
