Brandon Meriweather is an American football safety for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League. He was drafted by the New England Patriots 24th overall in the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Miami. Meriweather has also played for the Chicago Bears. Meriweather's mother gave birth to him when she was 13 years old. Meriweather started living with his adopted parents at age 11.
