Estádio Nacional de Brasília is a multi-purpose stadium in Brasilia, Brazil. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium... holds 42,200. and was was built in 1974. It hosts the home games of Legião Futebol Clube. Estádio Mané Garrincha is owned by the Department of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation of Distrito Federal. The former name is taken after the footballer Mané Garrincha. In 1974, the works on Estádio Mané Garrincha were completed. It was built when Garrincha was approximately 40 years old. The inaugural match was played on March 10 of that year, when Corinthians beat CEUB 2-1. The first goal of the stadium was scored by Corinthians' Vaguinho. The stadium's attendance record currently stands at 51,000, set on December 20, 1998 when Gama beat Londrina 3-0 at the 1998 Série B final, which gave Gama its first national trophy and consequent promotion to Série A in 1999. On December 8, 2007, the final of the first edition of the Copa do Brasil de Futebol Feminino, won by Mato Grosso do Sul/Saad, was hosted at Estádio Mané Garrincha.

Antonio Silva is a Brazilian mixed martial artist. He initially fought in the super heavyweight division, but currently competes in the heavyweight... weight class. He is the first and last EliteXC heavyweight champion. He has competed in organizations such as Hero's, BodogFight and Elite Xtreme Combat , and currently fights for Strikeforce and Sengoku. Antonio Silva began his career representing the Wolfslair MMA Academy in 2005 located in the United Kingdom. In 2006, he departed from the team after his bout with Tadas Rinkevicius. The Wolfslair gym requested to Silva's instructor Mario Neto for Silva to leave the team and return to Brazil. The gym claims Bigfoot owed them over £20,000, however, Silva states that they owed him a total of £6,000 in fighter purses after two fights in which he was promised £3,000 for each fight. After training with Brazilian Top Team in the meantime, Antonio Silva would then join as an official member of American Top Team located in Coconut Creek, Florida.

He also trained at the Imperial Athletics gym in Boca Raton, Florida, for his quarterfinal bout with Fedor Emelianenko in the Strikeforce World Grand Prix Heavyweight Tournament. On February 10, 2007, Silva made his EliteXC debut at EliteXC: Destiny, against UFC veteran Wesley Correira.
