In 1995 Jeremy D. Allaire co-founded Allaire Corporation with his brother JJ Allaire, creating the web development tool ColdFusion. When Macromedia... acquired Allaire in March 2001, Mr. Allaire became Chief Technology Officer. At Macromedia, Allaire helped create the Macromedia MX platform. He left Macromedia in February 2003 to join venture capital firm General Catalyst. Allaire founded Brightcove, a Cambridge, MA based company that produces Online Video Platform applications, in early 2004 to create a video distribution platform for the Internet and is now their CEO.

Barry Charles Diller is the Chairman and Senior Executive of IAC/InterActiveCorp and the media executive responsible for the creation of Fox... Broadcasting Company and USA Broadcasting. Diller was born and raised in San Francisco, California, the son of Reva and Michael Diller. He began his career through a family connection in the mailroom of the William Morris Agency after dropping out of UCLA after one semester. He was hired as an assistant by Elton Rule, then west coast head of ABC who was promoted to network President at the same time Diller went to work for him in 1964, taking him on to New York, and Diller was soon placed in charge of negotiating broadcast rights to feature films. He was promoted to Vice President of Development in 1965. In this position, Diller created the ABC Movie of the Week, pioneering the concept of the made-for-television movie through a regular series of 90-minute films produced exclusively for television. Diller served for ten years as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Paramount Pictures Corporation starting in 1974.

Prior to co-founding General Catalyst, David held the positions of President, CEO or Senior VP of Sales, Operations or Marketing for four publicly held companies.  Most recently, David led Allaire Corporation from 1997 to 2000 as President, CEO and Board Member.  During his tenure, Allaire grew from a venture-backed start up to an $119M public corporation trading on the NASDAQ.  The company pioneered the Internet Application Server market with industry leading products such as ColdFusion and JRUN.   In January of 2001, Allaire merged with MacroMedia Corporation and continues to be a leading Internet software company. Prior to his CEO role at Allaire, David held the positions of Senior VP of Sales Operations and Marketing at Frame Technology Corporation, Claris Corporation, and SQA Corporation. Frame Technology and SQA Corporation were venture-backed corporations that successfully completed Initial Public Offerings on the NASDAQ. Throughout his career, David has been an angel investor, advisor, and board member to several companies, including, Voxeo Corporation, and Firespout Corporation.  He earned a B.A. in Business and Accounting from Norwich University of Vermont.
