Robin Hugh Gibb, CBE is a singer and songwriter. He is best known as a member of the Bee Gees, co-founded with his twin brother Maurice and elder... brother Barry. Born in the Isle of Man to English parents, the family later moved to Manchester before settling in Brisbane, Australia. Gibb began his career as part of the family trio and when the group found major success they returned to the United Kingdom. With record sales estimated in excess of 200 million units, the Bee Gees became one of the most successful pop groups of all time. Born to Barbara and Hugh Gibb in the Isle of Man, Gibb is the twin brother of Maurice Gibb, and is the older of the twins by 35 minutes. The third-born of five children, Gibb has one older sister, Lesley , and three brothers: Barry , twin Maurice , and Andy . Gibb's mother Barbara was born in Worsley, Salford, and in the 1950s, the family returned to Manchester, England. The family lived on Keppel Road, Chorlton-cum-Hardy and it was here that the young Gibb brothers sang together and performed in local theatres.

In the 1950s, the family moved to Chorlton-cum-Hardy in Manchester, England, then in late 1958, they moved to Brisbane, Australia, settling in one of the city's poorest suburbs, Cribb Island, which was subsequently demolished to make way for the Brisbane Airport. Gibb was married to the Scottish pop star Lulu from 1969 to 1973.

The book of Guiness World Records lists Barry Gibb as the second most successful songwriter in history behind Paul McCartney. Barry Gibb was born to Barbara and Hugh Gibb in the Isle of Man. He has an older sister, Lesley , and three younger brothers, fraternal twins Robin and Maurice , and Andy . He and his family moved to Chorlton-cum-Hardy in Manchester in 1953. When he was 12 years old, his family moved to Brisbane, Australia, settling in one of the city's poorest suburbs, Cribb Island. The suburb was later bulldozed to make way for Brisbane Airport.

Geoffrey Roy Rush is an Australian actor and film producer. He is one of the few people who has won the "Triple Crown of Acting": an Academy Award,... a Tony Award and an Emmy Award. Rush was born in Toowoomba, Queensland, to Merle , a department store sales assistant, and Roy Baden Rush, an accountant for the Royal Australian Air Force. His parents divorced when he was five and his mother subsequently took him to live with her parents in suburban Brisbane. Before he began his acting career, Rush attended Everton Park State High School. He also has an arts degree from the University of Queensland. While at university, he was talent-spotted by Queensland Theatre Company in Brisbane. Rush began his career with QTC in 1971, appearing in 17 productions.

Darren Stanley Hayes is a UK-based Australian singer-songwriter. Hayes was the frontman and singer of the pop duo Savage Garden, whose 1997 album... Miranda Otto is an Australian actress. The daughter of actors Lindsay and Barry Otto and the sister of actress Gracie Otto, she began acting at age... eighteen, and has performed in a variety of independent and major studio films. Her first major film appearance was in the 1986 film Emma's War, in which she played a teenager who moves to Australia's bush country during World War II. Otto was born in Brisbane to stage and film actor Barry Otto and former actress Lindsay Otto . Gracie Otto, Miranda's half-sister, is also an actress. Otto was raised in Newcastle and Brisbane, and briefly resided in Hong Kong following her parents' separation in 1973.
