Brodrick Bunkley is an American football defensive tackle for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played college football at Florida State. Bunkley has also played for the Denver Broncos. Bunkley registered 18.5 sacks as a senior at George D. Chamberlain High School, leading his team to the state finals. Bunkley attended college at Florida State University. He finished his Seminoles career with 129 tackles, 11.5 sacks, and 37 TFLs in 44 games . Took over the starting nose guard duties... as a senior and went on to earn numerous First-team All-America in 2005 as well as Second-team All-ACC accolades. His 25 TFLs ranked 2nd in the nation and set a single-season school record. Also registered 66 tackles, 9 sacks, 15 hurries, 2 FRs and 1 FF. He registered 38 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 8 TFLs and 5 hurries as a sophomore and appeared in 8 games as a true freshman in 2002. On April 29, 2006, Bunkley was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft.
