Bublé has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide. Michael Bublé was born in the City of Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada to Lewis Bublé, a salmon fisherman, and Amber . He has two younger sisters, Crystal and Brandee. He attended Seaforth Elementary School and Cariboo Hill Secondary School. According to an Oprah interview on 9 October 2009, Bublé dreamed of becoming a famous singer since age two. When he was a teenager, he slept with his Bible and prayed to become a singer. Bublé's interest in jazz music began around age five when his family played Bing Crosby's White Christmas album at Christmas time.

Joseph Steven "Joe" Sakic is a former Canadian professional ice hockey player and current hockey executive. He played his entire National Hockey... League career with the Quebec Nordiques/Colorado Avalanche franchise. In his 20-year tenure, Sakic won the Stanley Cup twice, won numerous NHL trophies, and was voted into 13 NHL All-Star Games. Named captain of the team in 1992 , Sakic is regarded as one of most able team leaders in the league's history and able to motivate his team to play at a winning level. Over the course of his career, Sakic was one of the most productive forwards in the game, having twice scored 50 goals and earning at least 100 points in six different seasons. His wrist shot, considered one of the best in the NHL, was the source of much of his production as goalies around the league feared this shot. At the conclusion of the 2008–09 NHL season, he was the eighth all-time points leader in the NHL, as well as 14th in all-time goals and 11th in all-time assists.

Michael James Cuccione was a Canadian actor, singer, dancer, author, and cancer research activist. He was born in Burnaby, British Columbia, and... raised in neighbouring Coquitlam by his parents Domenic and Gloria Cuccione. He had an older sister, Sophia, and a younger brother, Steven. On July 25, 1994, when Michael was 9, he was diagnosed with stage 2A Hodgkin's lymphoma, a form of cancer affecting the lymph nodes. It was treated with five months of chemotherapy, but returned the following year. His second bout with the disease metastasized to his lungs. He required massive doses of chemotherapy, a bone marrow transplant, and twelve radiation treatments around his heart and lungs. He was then cancer free, but the treatment left him with permanent lung and respiratory problems. Michael became a well-known campaigner for pneumonia research and awareness. The singer/actor established The Michael Cuccione Foundation for Cancer Research and turned his love for music into a fundraising effort by recording a five-song CD, Make a Difference.

Darren McCarty is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey forward, best known for his years playing with the Detroit Red Wings of the National... Hockey League . McCarty has been known more for his fists than his scoring ability, taking on the role of the Red Wings enforcer most of his career, a role in which he won four Stanley Cups in 1997, 1998, 2002, and 2008, the last of which after resurrecting his career in the Red Wings minor league system. McCarty spent much of his childhood growing up in the small town of Leamington, Ontario playing minor hockey for the Southpoint Capitals minor teams. Drafted in the 2nd round, 49th overall, by the Red Wings in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft, McCarty scored 26 points in his rookie season as the Wings won the Central Division title. In the 1996–97 NHL season, McCarty scored a career best 19 goals and 42 points as the Wings swept the Philadelphia Flyers for their first Stanley Cup in 42 years. McCarty scored the Cup-clinching goal in Game 4. This goal, scored on an inside-outside move around a Flyers' defenseman , and goalie , was honored as one of the best goals of the year.

Ian James Corlett is a Canadian animation voice artist, writer, and musician. He is the creator of Studio B Productions' animated series Being Ian... and Yvon of the Yukon. In addition to programming some drum tracks and helping with some computer sequences on Queensrÿche's album Operation: Mindcrime, and also selling the band some music gear in the 1990s, Corlett also lent his voice to several animated series produced/dubbed in Canada. His most notable voice roles included the title character of the Mega Man TV show, Cheetor in Beast Wars: Transformers, Glitch-Bob in ReBoot, and Andy Larkin in What's with Andy?. Another notable, yet brief starring role of Corlett's was Goku in Funimation/Saban's original dub of Dragon Ball Z. Corlett has also lent his voice to less known DIC Entertainment shows such as Super Duper Sumos and Sonic Underground. He also voiced Mr. Cramp in The Cramp Twins. George Joshua Christian Dean is a Canadian actor and improvisor. He hails from Edmonton, Alberta, where he performed in the improvised soap opera... Die-Nasty and toured with improv company Rapid Fire Theatre. Dean also worked with the comedy troupe Gordon's Big Bald Head and appeared in several new works by Canadian playwright Stewart Lemoine. He was a regular cast member in the improvised variety show Oh Susanna! at the Varscona Theatre. Dean provided the voice of Henpecked Hou in the game Jade Empire from BioWare Corp. He would later appear in several roles in Bioware's Mass Effect. In 2003, he co-starred in the independent film Purple Gas, and in 2006 starred in the FOX TV sitcom Free Ride. Dean stars in the Martin Gero film Young People Fucking.
