Eton Park was an association football stadium located in Burton upon Trent, England. It was the home ground of Burton Albion F.C. from 1958 to 2005... when they moved to the £7.2 million Pirelli Stadium. The Brewers moved to the ground on 20 September 1958, coinciding with their promotion to the Southern League, and by the time of their departure 47 years later, they were members of the Conference.

Patrick George "Paddy" Considine is an English actor, filmmaker, screenwriter, musician and frequent collaborator with Shane Meadows. Best known to... audiences for his portrayals of dark, troubled, morally or mentally ambiguous characters. He has starred in films such as In America, Dead Man's Shoes, The Cry of the Owl, Le Donk & Scor-zay-zee and Hot Fuzz, as well as in television films such as The Red Riding Trilogy, The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher, and PU-239. Considine came to prominence in the early-2000s with a string of strong performances in independent films that prompted the Observer to describe him as "The best-kept secret in British movies". In addition to leading and supporting roles in Hollywood films, Considine has frequently acted in independent British films and television shows. Aside from acting, he directed and wrote Tyrannosaur, a film based on his directorial debut, the short film Dog Altogether both of which feature actors Peter Mullan, Olivia Colman and Paul Popplewell. He was both actor and writer on several music videos, namely the Arctic Monkeys promotional video for "Leave Before the Lights Come On".

Mabel Mercer was an English-born cabaret singer who performed in the United States, Britain, and Europe with the greats in jazz and cabaret. She was... a featured performer at Chez Bricktop in Paris, owned by the hostess Bricktop, and performed in such clubs as Le Ruban Bleu, Tony's, the RSVP, the Carlyle, the St. Regis Hotel, and eventually her own room, the Byline Club. Among those who frequently attended Mercer's shows was Frank Sinatra, who made no secret of his emulating her phrasing and story-telling techniques. Mercer was born in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, England. Her mother was a young, white English music hall performer, and her father was a black American jazz musician whom Mabel never knew. At age fourteen, she left her convent school in Manchester, and toured Britain and Europe with her aunt in vaudeville and music hall engagements. In 1928, she was an unknown member of the black chorus in the London production of Show Boat, but she had become the toast of Paris by the 1930s, with admirers who included Ernest Hemingway, Gertrude Stein, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Cole Porter.

Nick wrote and performed music for the films A Room for Romeo Brass and Dead Man's Shoes. Hemming is a key musician in the Willkommen Collective, currently the lead singer for The Leisure Society as well as playing banjo and mandolin with Sons of Noel and Adrian and Shoreline. He penned The Leisure Society's debut single 'The Last Of The Melting Snow', receiving huge critical and public acclaim and extensive radio play on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show, Marc Riley's BBC 6 Music show, Lauren Laverne's 6 Music show and Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie's Radio 2 show, where they were voted 'Record of the Week' by listeners with a record 90% of the vote. The track has also been championed by Elbow frontman Guy Garvey who named it his favourite song of 2008. The song was nominated for an Ivor Novello award. Hemming also plays with The Climbers alongside The Leisure Society's Christian Hardy and their childhood friend Tim West.

Joe Jackson is an English musician and singer-songwriter now living in Berlin, whose five Grammy Award nominations span from 1979 to 2001. He is... probably best known for the 1979 hit song and first single "Is She Really Going Out with Him?", which still gets extensive US FM radio airplay; for his 1982 hit, "Steppin' Out"; and for his 1984 success with "You Can't Get What You Want ". He was popular for his pop/rock and new wave music early on before moving to more eclectic, though less commercially successful, pop/jazz/classical hybrids. Born in Staffordshire, David Jackson grew up in Portsmouth in the Paulsgrove area and he attended the City of Portsmouth Boys' School. His parents later moved to Gosport when he was a teenager. He initially learned to play the violin but soon switched to piano and prevailed on his dad to install one in the hall of their Paulsgrove council house. From the age of 16, he played in bars, and won a scholarship to study musical composition at London's Royal Academy of Music.

Paul Harvey is a British musician and Stuckist artist, whose work was used to promote their 2004 show at the Liverpool Biennial. His paintings draw... on pop art and the work of Alphonse Mucha, and often depict celebrities, including Madonna. Paul Harvey was born in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire. He attended Burton Grammar School and North Staffordshire Polytechnic for Foundation Art and BA Design. In 1982 he moved to London and played in post-punk bands including Happy Refugees; in 1986 he moved to Newcastle to join Pauline Murray's band. During this time, he co-published-and-drew Mauretania Comics with comics artist Chris Reynolds, and also taught graffiti art. In 2001, he became a full-time lecturer in art and design at North Tyneside College . The same year, he joined the Stuckism art group, founding a Newcastle branch. In 2002, he joined Murray's re-formed punk band Penetration; he curated the show, Stuck in Newcastle, at the Newcastle Arts Centre, and was a joint winner of the Stuckists Real Turner Prize Show 2002.

Phillip William "Phil" Seamen was an English jazz drummer. With a solid background in big band music, Seamen played and recorded in a wide range of... musical contexts with virtually every key figure of 1950s and 1960s British jazz. Notable examples included Joe Harriott, Tubby Hayes, Stan Tracey, Ronnie Scott, Dick Morrissey, Harold McNair, Don Rendell, Victor Feldman, Dizzy Reece, Tony Coe, Tony Lee, and George Chisholm, to name but a few. Later in his career he worked with Alexis Korner, Georgie Fame, and had a spell with Ginger Baker's Air Force, the leader of the band being one of Seamen's foremost disciples. Drug addiction and alcoholism hampered him throughout his career. Seamen began playing drums at the age of six, turning professional at the age of 18 by joining Nat Gonella and his Georgians in 1944. He joined the Tommy Sampson Orchestra in 1948, and by 1949, Seamen and tenor saxist Danny Moss had formed a bebop quintet from within the ranks and which was featured on a radio broadcast by the orchestra in September 1949.
