Byron Township is a civil township of Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the township population was 20,317. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 36.6 square miles , of which, 36.6 square miles of it is land and 0.04 square miles of it is water.
