Gary Alan Sinise is an American actor, film director and musician. During his career, Sinise has won various awards including an Emmy and a Golden... Globe Award and was nominated for an Academy Award. In 1992, Sinise directed, and played the role of George Milton in the successful film adaptation of Of Mice and Men. Sinise was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1994 for his role as Lt. Dan Taylor in Forrest Gump. He won a Golden Globe Award for his role in Truman, as Harry S. Truman. In 1996, he played a corrupt police officer in the dramatic hit Ransom, Detective Jimmy Shaker. In 1998, Sinise was awarded an Emmy Award for the television film George Wallace, a portrayal of the late George C. Wallace. Since 2004, Sinise has starred in CBS's CSI: NY as Detective Mac Taylor. Sinise was born in Blue Island, Illinois, the son of Mylles S. and Robert L. Sinise , the latter of whom was a film editor. He is of part Italian ancestry . He attended Highland Park High School in Highland Park, Illinois.

She has been known by such variants of her name as Ming Na, Ming Na Wen, Ming-Na Wen and Ming Wen. She is known for voicing Fa Mulan in the Mulan films and Kingdom Hearts video game series, and as Dr. Jing-Mei "Deb" Chen on the NBC Medical drama series ER. She was a regular on other notable TV shows such as As the World Turns, Vanished, and The Batman. She was also the series lead on her own show, Inconceivable, a Medical drama which was aired on NBC, but the show was short-lived and was cancelled after two episodes. In 2009, the actress returned to being on television as a series regular in the role of Camile Wray in Stargate Universe. Besides television she is notable for starring in films such as The Joy Luck Club and Street Fighter.

She is... currently playing Genevieve Atkinson on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. She will soon appear in the web series PRETTY. Francis was born in Englewood, New Jersey. Her father, Ivor Francis, a Canadian actor of English descent, died in 1986 from the effects of multiple strokes. He played a brief role on General Hospital as an adoption counselor when his daughter was also on the show. Her mother, Rosemary Daley, is a former actress/model of Lithuanian descent. She has an older brother Ivor Jr., a younger brother Kenneth, and an older half-sister Shelley from her father's first marriage. Genie met actor/director Jonathan Frakes while filming the television series, Bare Essence. After meeting again during the filming of the miniseries, North and South, Genie and Jonathan started dating in 1985. They became engaged in 1986, and married on May 28, 1988. The couple has two children, Jameson Ivor Frakes, born in 1994, and Elizabeth Francis Frakes, born in 1997.
