California Pacific University is a state-approved distance learning school located in Escondido, California, near San Diego. It was founded in 1976 to provide alternative educational programs for adults wishing to obtain bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees in the areas of business administration and management. California Pacific University was the first collegiate institution to be approved under the qualitative standards mandated by the State of California Educational Reform Act of 1977.
