California State University, Fullerton is a public university located in Fullerton, California. During the Fall 2007 semester, Cal State Fullerton... enrolled a record-setting 37,130 students, the highest enrollment of the 23 campuses in the California State University system. As of Fall 2008, the University was the third largest in the state of California, just below UCLA and CSULB. CSUF's athletic teams compete in Division I of the NCAA and are collectively known as the Cal State Fullerton Titans. They are members of the Big West Conference. In 1957, Cal State Fullerton became the twelfth State College in California to be authorized by the State Legislature as a degree granting institution. The following year, a site was designated for the campus to be established in northeast Fullerton. The property was purchased in 1959. This is the same year that Dr. William B. Langsdorf was appointed as the founding president of the school. The University was originally named Orange County State College. Classes began with 452 students in September, 1959. The name of the school was changed to Orange State College in July 1962.

Michael Steven Harper is an American poet from Brooklyn, who was the Poet Laureate of Rhode Island from 1988 to 1993. He has published ten books of... poetry, two of which, "Dear John, Dear Coltrane" and "Images of Kin" , have been nominated for the National Book Award. A great deal of his poetry is influenced by jazz and history. Many of his poems have been included as important examples of African American literature and jazz poetry in various anthologies. Harper often writes about his wife, Shirley , their children, their ancestors, as well as friends and various black historical and cultural figures. Harper earned his B.A. and M.A. from California State University, Los Angeles, and an M.F.A. from the University of Iowa. As of 2011, Harper lives in Barrington, Rhode Island. James Francis Cameron is a Canadian film director, film producer, deep-sea explorer, screenwriter, visual artist and editor. His writing and... directing work includes Piranha II: The Spawning , The Terminator , Aliens , The Abyss , Terminator 2: Judgment Day , True Lies , Titanic , Dark Angel , and Avatar . In the time between making Titanic and Avatar, Cameron spent several years creating many documentary films and co-developed the digital 3D Fusion Camera System.
