Camelot

Camelot is a 1967 film adaptation of the musical of the same name. Richard Harris stars as Arthur, Vanessa Redgrave as Guinevere, and Franco Nero as Lancelot. The film was directed by Joshua Logan. Unlike the original stage version, the main plot of the film is presented as a long flashback. In the opening scene, King Arthur is preparing for a great battle against his friend, Sir Lancelot , a battle he does not wish to fight but has been forced into.
