The Canon 15x50 IS Image Stabilized Binocular gives you tremendously high magnification in a relatively small body, with image stabilization included. Try it - You are looking through the binocular, riding in a car, and the scene is bouncing all over the place. You press the stabilizer button and the shakes stop instantly! You are now able to view the landscape clearly.

money well spent Sep 27, 2005
5.00 5/5.0
Pros:
50mm objective lens for night, image stabilizer, 5min shutoff timer, quality optics
Cons:
high price (but comparable to other good units) no battery life indicator.

Review: Go with the 15x50IS - the field of view is too narrow on the 18x50IS and they are otherwise the same. Definitely buy IS binoculars!
