Cedar Falls

UNI-Dome is a multi-purpose stadium, on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, United States. It opened in 1976, as... the home of the UNI Panthers basketball and football teams. The facility's capacity for football is 16,324. For basketball, its official capacity is 10,000; however, it has seated as many as 22,000 for events such as the 1990 Mid-Continent Conference men’s basketball tournament and the 1997 NCAA Division I National Wrestling Championships. It has been the home of the Iowa State High School football championships, since 1976 and has hosted junior college football bowl games, wrestling, track and field, softball, concerts and conventions. In 1994, the air-supported roof collapsed in a snowstorm. Since this had occurred on numerous occasions before, it was replaced by a more permanent metal roof. On November 18, 2006, the McLeod Center opened for basketball, volleyball, and wrestling. The McLeod Center is directly south of the UNIDome and connected by a covered walkway.

Annabeth Gish is an American actress. She is known for her roles in films Shag, Hiding Out, Mystic Pizza, The Last Supper and Double Jeopardy. Gish was born Anne Elizabeth Gish in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the daughter of Judy and Robert Gish. Gish has said that she is "from different branches of the same family tree" as early silent film actress sisters Lillian Gish and Dorothy Gish. When she was two, her family moved to Cedar Falls, Iowa, where she grew up with her brother Tim and sister Robin. Her father was an English professor at the University of Northern Iowa; her mother was an elementary school teacher. Gish is married to former The X-Files stunt man Wade Allen and they are the parents of two sons: Cash Alexander Allen and Enzo Edward Allen . Gish is a supporter of CARE International, and more recently, of Students Rebuild and One Million Bones.

Trev Kendall Alberts is an American sports administrator and the director of athletics at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Alberts is a former... American college and professional football player. He played college football for the University of Nebraska, and earned All-American honors at linebacker. He played professionally for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League for three seasons, after having been fifth overall pick in the 1994 NFL Draft. Later, he became a television and print college football commentator, most notably working alongside Mark May on ESPN's College GameDay Scoreboard show. Alberts was born in Cedar Falls, Iowa. He attended Northern University High School in Cedar Falls, where he played for the Northern University Panthers high school football team. While attending the University of Nebraska, he played for the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team from 1990 to 1993.
