Donovan Jamal McNabb is an American football quarterback who is currently a Free Agent. He was the Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback from 1999 to... 2009 and spent the 2010 season with the Washington Redskins and a portion of the 2011 season with the Minnesota Vikings. In college, McNabb played football and basketball for Syracuse University. The Eagles selected him as the second overall pick of the 1999 NFL Draft. McNabb led the Eagles to four consecutive NFC East division championships , five NFC Championship Games , and one Super Bowl . Perhaps his most memorable play has become known as "4th and 26", which took place against the Green Bay Packers in the final minutes of a 2003 NFC Divisional playoff game. Jack Kruschen was a Canadian-born character actor who worked primarily in American film, television and radio. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Kruschen... began his radio career while still in high school, and during the 1940s, he became a staple of West Coast radio drama. He had several roles in programs made especially for the Armed Forces Radio Service broadcast for the benefit of members on active duty in the military in the 1940s and 1950s. He had regular or recurring roles on Broadway Is My Beat , and Pete Kelly's Blues , as well as frequent episodic roles on anthology series, Westerns and crime dramas. He was heard on such high-profile series as Escape, Dragnet, Gunsmoke , Crime Classics, Frontier Gentleman, Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar, Nightbeat and Suspense. His movie career is highlighted by his performance as neighbor Dr. Dreyfuss in Billy Wilder's The Apartment .

Liz Renay, née Pearl Elizabeth Dobbins was an American author, actress and convicted felon, who appeared in John Waters' film Desperate Living... . She was born Pearl Elizabeth Dobbins on April 16, 1926 in Chandler, Arizona to "evangelical parents." Renay was mobster Mickey Cohen's girlfriend. Renay was convicted of perjury and served 27 months at Terminal Island. In her book, My First 2,000 Men, she claimed flings with Joe DiMaggio, Regis Philbin, and Cary Grant among many other male celebrities. She and her daughter, Brenda, toured with a striptease act. The act ended when Brenda committed suicide on her 39th birthday in 1982. Renay's other books include My Face for the World to See and Staying Young . My Face for the World to See was reissued in 2002, headlined "A Cult Classic," with a foreword by John Waters. Waters integrated the title into the dialogue of his film Female Trouble , prior to working on his film Desperate Living with Renay. Renay died at age 80 on January 22, 2007, in her adopted hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada, from cardiac arrest and gastric bleeding.

Andre Everett Ethier , is a Major League Baseball outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 2009, Ethier hit six walk off hits , which was the most... by any player in the Major Leagues since 1974. His four walk-off home runs tied the Major League record for most in a season. He earned the nickname Captain Clutch by Dodgers fans, due to his late inning heroics. Ethier transferred to Chandler-Gilbert Community College after playing with Arizona State University in the fall of 2000. The coaching staff at ASU told him that they thought he did not have Division I talent, and that he would do better to play junior college ball. At CGCC, Ethier recorded 94 hits as one of the top junior college players in Arizona, batting .468 with 32 doubles. He was named team MVP. During the summer of 2001, he played with the Keene Swamp Bats in the New England Collegiate Baseball League. In 2010, Ethier was inducted into the NECBL Hall of Fame. Ethier re-enrolled at ASU in the fall of 2001 and played there until the end of his junior year in 2003 with an ASU career batting average of .

Terry "Tank" Johnson is an American professional football defensive tackle who is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the... second round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Washington. He has also played for the Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals. Johnson was born in Gary, Indiana. His father moved him to Arizona when he was six years old. He attended McClintock High School in Tempe, Arizona, where he had a B-plus grade average. Johnson played college football at the University of Washington. During his four years at the University, he was second team All-Pac-10. The Chicago Bears selected Johnson with the 15th pick of the second round of the 2004 NFL Draft. Along with teammates Tommie Harris, Brian Urlacher, Lance Briggs, and Nathan Vasher, Johnson helped the Bears' establish the league's most productive defense during the 2005 NFL season. During the start of the 2006 NFL Season, Johnson saw more action due to the loss of Tommie Harris.

George Holmes "Buddy" Tate was a jazz saxophonist and clarinetist. He has been counted as one of the great tenor saxophonists of his generation and... was inducted into the Big Band and Jazz Hall of Fame. Tate was born in Sherman, Texas. He began on alto saxophone, but quickly switched to tenor making a name for himself in bands like Andy Kirk's. He joined Count Basie's band in 1939 and stayed with him until 1948. He had been selected by Basie due to the sudden death of Herschel Evans, which Tate states he predicted in a dream. After his period with Basie ended he worked with several other bands before his own gained success starting in 1953 in Harlem. His band would work at the "Celebrity Club" there until 1974. After that he co-led a band with Paul Quinichette and worked with Benny Goodman in the late 1970s. In 1980 he was seriously injured by scalding water at a hotel shower, which kept him inactive for four months and later suffered from a serious illness. The 1990s saw him slow down, but he remained active playing with Lionel Hampton among others. In 1992 he also took part in the documentary, Texas Tenor: The Illinois Jacquet Story.

Roy Nichols was an American country music guitarist best known as the lead guitarist for Merle Haggard for more than two decades. He was known for... his guitar technique, a mix of fingerpicking and pedal steel-like bends, usually played on a Telecaster. Roy Ernest Nichols was born in Chandler, Arizona. His parents were Bruce and Lucille Nichols. Roy was the first born of seven children. The Nichols family moved to Fresno, California when he was 2. They owned a camp for migrant farm workers. Sometimes a traveling Gypsy band would stay at the camp. Nichols would hide and watch them play. His father Bruce played upright bass at the local dances on the weekends in the San Joaquin Valley. Nichols was interested in his father’s music. He learned three chords from his father and began playing in his father's band on the weekends when he was 11. By age 14, Nichols began playing weekends with Curly Roberts and the Rangers. This earned him $25 a week. Shortly before his 16th birthday, Nichols met Fred Maddox, of the Maddox Brothers. The Maddox Brothers and Rose was a colorful hillbilly band.
