Chelmsford

Daniel DeBourg is an English pop singer, songwriter, former dancer and model. In 2007, he was a finalist on the fourth UK series of the TV talent... show, The X Factor. Although dedicated to dance, DeBourg also had an early interest in singing and was vocalist for several bands during his adolescence. After a knee injury ended his dance career, DeBourg turned his hand to songwriting; recorded by R&B songstress Jamelia in 2000, his song "Money" reached #5 on the UK Singles Chart. DeBourg was encouraged by a friend to create several demos of his own singing. These attracted the interest of Dreamworks scout Robbie Robertson. DeBourg was introduced to then in house producers Tim & Bob and subsequently signed to the label and the duo produced his debut album, Tell the World. The high-production album, released in 2002, launched the single "I Need an Angel", which hit #30 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. In 2007, DeBourg auditioned for the fourth series of The X Factor and reached the final twelve acts to sing in the live rounds of the competition. He was mentored by Louis Walsh, but was eliminated by the public and judges on 27 October 2007.

Harry Mark Christopher Judd is an English musician who is best known as the drummer for British pop rock band McFly, along with fellow band members... Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter and Danny Jones. He won the 2011 series of Strictly Come Dancing. Judd was born in the town of Chelmsford in Essex in southern England, and educated at two leading co-educational independent schools: at Old Buckenham Hall in the village of Brettenham in the Babergh district of Suffolk in eastern England, followed by Uppingham School in the small town of Uppingham in Rutland in central England. Judd appeared in Busted's music video for their single "Crashed the Wedding", after which he joined McFly following auditions. Alongside his fellow band mates in McFly, Judd is often on TV programmes including The Paul O'Grady Show, T4's Freshly Squeezed and BBC programme Sound. In January 2005, McFly guest-starred in an episode of the long-running BBC1 drama series Casualty. In May 2006, McFly starred in the teen comedy film Just My Luck with Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine, which was released in the US on 12 May 2006 and in the UK on 30 June 2006.

Penny Lancaster-Stewart is an English model and photographer. She is probably best known for her modeling work for designer lingerie brand Ultimo.... She is married to rock singer Rod Stewart. Penny Lancaster was brought up by parents Graham and Sally who were both regular gym-goers and encouraged a love of fitness. She also has a brother called Oliver. At the age of six Lancaster took up dance, learning tap, ballet and modern but decided to quit at the age of 16 due to her height and decided aerobics would better suit her frame. Six years later Lancaster became a certified fitness trainer. It was during this time when she was spotted by a model scout who suggested she should consider a career in modelling. Throughout the 1990s she was in a long-term relationship with city trader Mickey Sloan. They lived in Bermuda from 1996-1998 but separated in 1999. Around this time Lancaster also decided to learn about the other side of modeling and began taking photography classes. In 2002 Lancaster signed up to be the face of designer lingerie brand Ultimo for a reported £200,000.

Amanda Root is an English stage and screen actor and a former voice actor for children's programmes. Root known for her starring role in the 1995... BBC film adaptation of Jane Austen's Persuasion and the British TV comedy All About Me, as Miranda, alongside Richard Lumsden in 2004 and when she was a voice actor for voicing Sophie in BFG. She trained for the stage at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. Root was born in Chelmsford, Essex. She began her career at the Leeds Playhouse in 1983 when she played Essie in Bernard Shaw's The Devil's Disciple. "She was a remarkably complete actress even in her early twenties, when physically she looked little more than a child. With her dark soulful eyes she could command a stage, and the Royal Shakespeare Company saw her talent very early on." She worked regularly with the RSC in Stratford-upon-Avon and London from 1983 to 1991, including playing the role of Juliet to Daniel Day-Lewis's Romeo; a very young Lady Macbeth; Cressida to Ralph Fiennes' Troilus, and Rosaline to his Berowne. In 1995, she starred as Anne Elliot in Persuasion, co-starring Ciarán Hinds and John Woodvine.

Guthrie Govan is a virtuoso guitarist known for his work with the bands Asia , GPS, The Young Punx and The Fellowship as well as Erotic Cakes . He... is a noted guitar teacher through his work with the UK magazine Guitar Techniques, Guildford’s Academy of Contemporary Music and currently the Brighton Institute of Modern Music. He is the 1993 winner of Guitarist magazine's "Guitarist of the Year" competition. Govan began playing guitar aged three, encouraged by his father but initially learning mainly by ear. At the age of nine he and his brother Seth Govan played guitar on a Thames Television programme called Ace Reports. At secondary school he was exposed, via older classmates, to "shred" guitarists of the time. After leaving school, Govan read English at the University of Oxford, though he left after a year to pursue a career in music. Around this time he sent demos of his work to Mike Varney of Shrapnel Records. Varney was impressed and offered him a record deal; ultimately however, Govan declined.

Mike Edmonds is an English actor with dwarfism, well-known for his role as Little Ron in the children's television show Maid Marian and Her Merry... Men. Edmonds can also be seen dancing in the Men Without Hats music video "The Safety Dance". Edmonds has also appeared in several films, including Flash Gordon, The Dark Crystal, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Edmonds played the role of Og in the Terry Gilliam film Time Bandits. In Return of the Jedi, he performed as the Ewok Logray as well as opperating as Jabba The Hutt's tail opperator. He also played the goblin in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in the scene where Harry and Hagrid go to the Gringotts bank desk.
