Fuling Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Chongqing, China. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 22,000 spectators.

Zhang, like many other modern Chinese directors, has focused primarily on life in modern Chinese cities. Spring Subway, for example, follows its protagonist as he wanders through Beijing's subway system, while the mystery-thriller Curiosity Killed the Cat follows its characters through the central China boomtown of Chongqing . Zhang's next two films, 2007's The Longest Night in Shanghai and 2008's Lost, Indulgence have seen the director's exposure and successes extending increasingly overseas. Longest Night, starring Zhao Wei, constitutes one of the first China-Japan coproductions, while Lost was selected to premiere at New York City's Tribeca Film Festival in 2008.

Chen Kun , sometimes credited as Aloys Chen, is a Chinese actor and singer. He has won the Hundred Flowers Award's for Best Actor, Huabiao Award for... Best Actor, and has received one Golden Horse Award nomination for Best Actor. Chen gained recognition from the 2001 television drama Love in Shanghai and the 2002 film Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress. He rose to international prominence from the 2006 film The Knot and the 2008 fantasy film Painted Skin, which also garnered him a Hundred Flowers Award for Best Actor. Chen was born in Chongqing, Sichuan of Han Chinese descent. His parents divorced soon after Chen's second younger brother was born, and Chen began working part-time in high school to support his mother. He started as a typist at the municipal office and later as a solo singer at night clubs. He showed early talent in singing and was strongly recommended by his vocal trainer and mentor to join the famous China Oriental Song and Dance Ensemble at Beijing in 1995. In 1996, he was admitted to Beijing Film Academy where he began taking acting classes.

Li Yundi is a Chinese classical pianist. He is also popularly known as Yundi and formerly Yundi Li. Born in Chongqing, Li is most well known for... being the youngest pianist to win the International Frédéric Chopin Piano Competition, in 2000, at the age of 18. He currently resides in Hong Kong. His father, Li Chuan, and his mother, Zhang Xiaolu, both worked for the Sichuan Chongqing Steel and Iron Company. Although coming from a family of non-musicians, Li took to music early. When he was three years old, his parents bought him an accordion after he was so entranced by an accordion player in a shopping mall that he refused to leave. He mastered the instrument by the age of four, studying with Tan Jianmin, a music professor in China. Only one year later, he won the top prize at the Chongqing Children's Accordion Competition. Li began studying piano at the age of seven years. Two years later, his teacher introduced him to Dan Zhaoyi, one of China's most renowned piano teachers, with whom he would study for nine years. Li's ambition was to become a professional pianist.

Sun Yu was a major leftist film director active in the 1930s in Shanghai. One of the core directors of the Lianhua Film Company, Sun Yu made a name... for himself with a series of socially conscious dramas in the early to mid 1930s. With the war, Sun Yu made his way to the interior of the country, where he continued to make films glorifying the war effort against the Japanese. His career took a turn for the worse upon his return to Shanghai in the late 1940s. In The Life of Wu Xun, Sun Yu's big-budget biographical picture of the titular Qing Dynasty educator, Sun attracted the wrath of Mao Zedong himself, who personally criticized the film in an essay. Though Sun never fully recovered from the episode, today, Sun Yu has emerged as one of the foremost filmmakers of China's golden age. Sun Yu was born in the city of Chongqing and educated first at Tsinghua University in Beijing before continuing his education in drama at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and Columbia University in the 1920s.

Chiao Li Na or Lisa Chiao Chiao, often credited Chiao Chiao, is a Taiwanese film actress best known for her work in Hong Kong cinema. She was... employed by the Shaw Studios between 1966 and 1972, where she appeared in films such as A Cause to Kill in 1970. In 1972 she briefly returned to Taiwan, where she made some television appearances. She then went on to appear in several Hong Kong films in the 1980s and 1990s, with her last appearance in the 1998 picture Bishōnen, making some 50 appearances between 1964 and 1998. In 1963, Chiao married Huang Tsung Hsing, and after his death in 1976 she worked more extensively behind the scenes, most notably as a dubber. Her latest film is "Prince of Tears" by the director Yonfan. It showed at film festivals in Venice and Toronto in 2009.
