Clash of the Wolves is a 1925 silent film produced by and distributed through Warner Brothers. It is an extant film and stars canine actor Rin Tin Tin The movie was filmed on location in Chatsworth, California and at the Joshua Tree National Park Rin Tin Tin featured as the half-breed leader of a wolf pack, named 'Lobo' . At one point, 'Lobo' is forced to wear false chin whiskers and leather booties in order to elude the law. The human leading man is Charles Farrell, who was on the verge of a stunning career breakthrough with Seventh Heaven and Street Angel . In 2004, Clash of the Wolves was... deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" by the United States Library of Congress and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry. At the Library it exists in it's full version and an abridged version.
