Colorado Springs City Auditorium or Colorado Springs Municipal Auditorium is a historic auditorium in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Completed in 1923,... the auditorium still serves the city of Colorado Springs by way of hosting various events throughout the year. The building, costing a whopping $424,910 at the time, was primarily used for concerts, theatre performances and graduations. The plaque above the stage is inscribed, "USUI CIVIUM DECORI URBUS", or "For the use of the people and the glory of the city." In the 1940s, a local promoter, Abe Marylander, brought wrestling exhibitions and boxing matches to the facility. As the years passed, the City Auditorium has played host to various musical concerts, the Harlem Globetrotters, many conventions and trade shows, professional wrestling, boxing, mixed martial arts, roller derby and more. The City Auditorium was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 7, 1995. The Pikemasters Model Railroad club is housed in the Auditoriums basement. Located in the old Colorado Springs Police firing range, they host meetings every Thursday Night at 7PM. Visitors are welcome.

The Midland Terminal Railroad Roundhouse is a historic roundhouse in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The building was once operated by the Colorado... Midland Railroad and its successor, the Midland Terminal Railway. For many years, the roundhouse was home to Van Briggle Art Pottery, which prospered from the roundhouse's location on US Highway 24 between Manitou Springs and the central business district of Colorado Springs. After Van Briggle moved to a new location, the roundhouse was gutted and rebuilt as office space in 2008.

Her father, Jonathan Ralston Kennedy, founded the "Colorado School for the Education of Mutes" in 1874, and Chaney's parents met there. Both of Chaney's parents were deaf, and as a child of deaf adults Chaney became skilled in pantomime. He entered a stage career in 1902, and began traveling with popular Vaudeville and theater acts.

Her television guest starring roles include Sliders and ER. Masterson was named one of the world's "50 Sexiest Women" by the men's magazine Femme Fatales, and the "Favorite Science Fiction Actress on Television" in a TV Guide reader's poll. In December 2009, AOL named her one of the "Ten Sexiest Aliens on TV", reporting that "Masterson is regularly voted the most popular guest at Star Trek conventions." At 18 she attended the Acting Conservatory of SUNY at Purchase — rooming with fellow actress and student Parker Posey.

Robert William "Bobby" Unser is a retired U.S. automobile racer. He is the brother of Al Unser, Jerry Unser and Louie Unser, the father of Robby... Unser, and the uncle of Al Unser, Jr. and Johnny Unser. He is one of seven drivers to win the Indianapolis 500 three times, and one of only two to have won the 500 in three different decades . Bobby has also been a spokesman and advocate of Amsoil. Bobby was part of one of the most controversial finishes in Indy 500 history at the 1981 Indianapolis 500. On lap 149, during a caution period, Bobby and Mario Andretti made their pit stop and headed back to the race. Bobby passed eight cars during the caution, while Mario passed two cars. Unser won the race, but was stripped of it the following morning in favor of second place finisher Mario Andretti. Unser was awarded the win in October 1981, but the controversy and financial impact caused him to retire from racing at the end of the year.

Thomas William "Tom" Hamilton is an American musician, best known as the bassist of hard rock band Aerosmith. He has co-written two of Aerosmith's... hits, "Sweet Emotion" and "Janie's Got a Gun". Hamilton occasionally plays guitar and sings backing vocals . Hamilton first started playing guitar when he was 12 and switched to bass when he was 14 to join a local band because they had an open space at that position. Hamilton was in a few bands with soon-to-be Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry and David "Pudge" Scott. One of the bands was simply called "The Jam Band". It was at a Jam Band gig in summer 1970 at a place called "The Barn" in Sunapee, New Hampshire, that the Jam Band met Steven Tyler, and the four of them agreed to move to Boston to start a band . Scott left the group shortly thereafter, being replaced by Tyler on drums. The three became a power trio with Hamilton on bass, Perry on guitar, and Tyler on drums and vocals.

Alice Day was a film actor who began her career as of the Sennett Bathing Beauties. Day appeared in 70 movies between 1923 and 1932. In 1929, she... starred with Edward Buzzell in a film version of the George M. Cohan stage musical Little Johnny Jones, the title better known in revised excerpts staged in the Cohan Biopic Yankee Doodle Dandy. There are no known copies of the Buzzell-Day films. Day also co-starred with Ted Lewis in the musical Is Everybody Happy? which is also considered a lost film. Alice Day was the elder sister of actress Marceline Day. Day appeared in the film Two-Fisted Law with Tim McCoy and John Wayne.

Carole "Kelly" Bishop is an American actress and dancer, best-known for her roles as matriarch Emily Gilmore on the series Gilmore Girls, and as the... mother of Jennifer Grey's character in the film Dirty Dancing. Bishop created the role of Sheila in A Chorus Line, for which she won a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical. Bishop was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Jane Lenore and Lawrence Boden Bishop. She grew up in Denver, Colorado, where she trained to be a ballet dancer, attending the American Ballet Theatre School and the San Jose Ballet School. At eighteen, she headed to New York City and landed her first job dancing in a year-round ballet company at Radio City Music Hall. Bishop continued to dance in Las Vegas, summer stock and on television until she was cast in 1967 in Golden Rainbow, her first Broadway role. Bishop's big break came when she was cast as the sexy, hard-edged Sheila in the Broadway production of A Chorus Line. Her performance earned her the 1976 Tony Award as "Best Supporting or Featured Actress ", as well as the 1976 Drama Desk Award for "Outstanding Actress in a Musical".
