The Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law is located on the campus of Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis in Indianapolis, Indiana. The law school is one of two law schools operated by the Indiana University system, the other being the Indiana University Maurer... School of Law . Although both law schools are part of Indiana University, each law school is wholly independent of the other. With an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students, IU McKinney is the largest law school in the state of Indiana. In the summer of 2001, the school moved to its award winning new building, Lawrence W. Inlow Hall. Of the 190 ABA-accredited law schools evaluated for its 2012 edition , U.S. News & World Report ranked the school 79th overall, eighth in legal writing, and eleventh in healthcare law. In 2010, based on the number of graduates selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers magazine, that publication ranked the school 44th out of 180 law schools considered.

The 1993 Summer Offensives of the Nagorno-Karabakh War saw the capture of several Azerbaijani regions by Armenian military units in a series of... battles from June to August 1993. As bombardments against the Nagorno-Karabakh's indigenous civilian population emanating from Agdam intensified, on July 4, an artillery bombardment was commenced by Armenian forces against the region's capital of Agdam. As the civilians began to evacuate Agdam, so did the soldiers. As house to house fighting took place, the Azeris, conflicted by desertions, undisciplined troops, and low morale, made little effort to defend the town. Within the end of the month, Armenian forces had taken hold of Agdam and an estimated 120,000 civilians had left the Agdam region. On July 29, the second UNSC resolution, 853, was passed condemning the offensive and reaffirming the previous points it had made. Despite calls to halt their advances, the Armenian government said that they had no control over the enclave's military leaders in order to call off the offensive. Facing a military collapse, Aliev attempted to mediate with the de-facto Karabakh government and Minsk Group officials.

STS-54 Shuttle mission was a Space Transportation System mission using orbiter Endeavour. This is the 3rd flight for Endeavour, and launched 13... January 1993. The primary payload was the fifth Tracking and Data Relay Satellite which was deployed on day one of the mission. It was later successfully transferred to its proper orbit by the Inertial Upper Stage booster. Also carried into orbit in the payload bay was a Hitchhiker experiment called the Diffuse X-ray Spectrometer . This instrument collected data on X-ray radiation from diffuse sources in deep space.

STS-53 was a Space Shuttle Discovery mission in support of the United States Department of Defense. The mission was launched on 2 December 1992 from... Kennedy Space Center, Florida. Discovery carried a classified primary payload for the United States Department of Defense, two unclassified secondary payloads and nine unclassified middeck experiments. Discovery's primary payload, USA-89 NSSDC ID 1992-086B is also known as "DoD-1", and was the shuttle's last major payload for the Department of Defense. The satellite was the second launch of a Satellite Data System-2 military communications satellite, after USA-40 on STS-28. Secondary payloads contained in or attached to Get Away Special hardware in the cargo bay included the Orbital Debris Radar Calibration Spheres the combined Shuttle Glow Experiment/Cryogenic Heat Pipe Experiment .
