The Norfolk County Courthouse is a National Historic Landmark at 650 High Street in Dedham, Massachusetts. The Greek Revival courthouse was built in... 1827 with modifications by Solomon Willard. It was the site of the famous Sacco-Vanzetti trial. The courthouse was added to the National Historic Register in 1972.

The Endicott Estate is a mansion built in the nineteenth century, located at 656 East Street in Dedham, Massachusetts “situated on a 15-acre... panorama of lush green lawn that is punctuated by stately elm, spruce and weeping willow trees” . It was built by Henry Bradford Endicott, founder of the Endicott-Johnson Shoe Corp. The mansion as it stands today is actually the second estate, as the original burned to the ground in 1904. This was the result of the local volunteer fire department responding to three separate fires burning at the same time, and not being able to reach the Estate in time. This event reportedly inspired Henry Bradford Endicott to build the newest Estate that same year. According to the Estate’s official website, “It is said that Henry Bradford Endicott took the burning of the homestead as a divine command to rebuild” . The Estate remained in the Endicott family until 1967 after the death of Henry’s adopted daughter Katherine, when it was willed to the town of Dedham to be used for “educational, civic and recreational purposes” .

Roach is one of the most well-known boxing trainers in the world, having been voted Trainer of the Year by the Boxing Writers Association of America in 2003, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010. He is currently the boxing coach of UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre, as well as trainer of eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao, former world champion Amir Khan, current WBC Middleweight Champion Julio César Chávez, Jr. and top prospects Jose Benavidez, Peter Quillin and Vanes Martirosyan. Roach was also the trainer of former two-time world champion and arguably one of the best women boxers Lucia Rijker. Roach was trained by Tariq Nasiri at a young age along with his brothers Pepper and Joey. As a teenager, he was a dominant force in the New England amateur and AAU ranks. Roach turned pro in 1978, fighting as a lightweight and won his first 10 bouts.

Connie Hines was an American actress, best known for playing Alan Young's wife, Carol Post, on the 1960s syndicated and then CBS sitcom Mister Ed.... Hines was one of four children born in Dedham, Massachusetts to an actress mother and a Boston-based teacher/acting coach father. As a child, she appeared in many of her father's stock-company plays. A member of the class of 1948 at Dedham High School, she was voted the most popular girl in her class. She also dated the captain of the football team and was class secretary. She tried out for a part in the senior class play, but did not get it. After her father's death, she went on to marry an insurance agent and moved to Jacksonville, Florida. She worked as a model there and as a radio and stage actress, joining a stock company in Miami. By the time she was divorced, Hines traveled to New York City to study with the Helen Hayes Equity Group. When she came to Hollywood, California, she lived in an apartment, rented a car and got her start in acting on an episode of Whirlybirds. Her first film role was in 1960's Thunder in Carolina.
