Diablo

Eric J. Sexton is a computer game developer, an artist and animator on the popular Diablo games. Sexton was born in 1970 in Cupertino, California, the older of two children to Patricia K. Bolen and Thomas H. Sexton, both of whom were X-ray technicians for Kaiser Hospital. He attended Lincoln High School but did not graduate. In 1995, he started in the game industry at Condor Inc. as an artist and animator, working on NFL Quarterback Club II for... the Game Boy and Game Gear. In late 1996 Condor was purchased by Davidson & Associates, and changed its name to Blizzard North. He was an artist and animator on Diablo, animating all of the heroes and many of the monsters, creating many of the story-based quests, and co-creating the "Random Item System." He also did art, animation, and design for Diablo II, modeling and animating many of the characters, as well as designing quests, and character and monster skills. He was lead designer for the game's "Random Name System" which included both items and monsters. Sexton married in 1990, but divorced in 2002.

Ken Williams is an American game programmer and co-founded On-Line Systems, which later became Sierra On-Line, together with his wife Roberta Williams. Roberta and Ken married at the age of 19 and have two children. The couple were leading figures in the development of graphical adventure games. Their contribution to gaming was partially chronicled in the book Hackers: Heroes of the Computer Revolution. Ken was the president of Sierra until the... company was sold to CUC in July 1996, but he remained with the company leading its strategic direction until November 1997. Vivendi currently holds the Sierra name. As of 2006, Ken is enjoying retirement with his wife Roberta. He is no longer active in the computer-gaming industry; his current projects are limited to writing and managing a website construction tool called TalkSpot, primarily as a hobby. He has published a book titled Crossing an Ocean under Power that chronicled his journey with Roberta across the Atlantic on his 62-foot trawler during his retirement years.

Electronic Arts Victor is the Japanese-only branch of Electronic Arts. They have made sports games for the Family Computer, Super Famicom, and the Sega Mega Drive. This brand name is unknown outside of Japan and the emulation community. Some concepts include J-League soccer, football, and NHL... hockey. It is unknown whether this company is active or defunct.

Electronic Arts, Inc. is a major American developer, marketer, publisher and distributor of video games. Founded and incorporated on May 28, 1982 by Trip Hawkins, the company was a pioneer of the early home computer games industry and was notable for promoting the designers and programmers... responsible for its games. It is one of the largest video game publishers in the world. Originally, EA was a home computing game publisher. In the late 1980s, the company began developing games in-house and supported consoles by the early 1990s. EA later grew via acquisition of several successful developers. By the early 2000s, EA had become one of the world's largest third-party publishers. On May 4, 2011, EA reported $3.8 billion in revenues for the fiscal year ending March 2011, and on January 13, 2012, EA announced that it had exceeded $1 billion in digital revenue during the previous calendar year. In a note to employees, EA CEO John Riccitiello called this “an incredibly important milestone” for the company. EA began to move toward direct distribution of digital games and services with the acquisition of the popular online gaming site Pogo.com in 2001.

Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. is an American video game developer and publisher founded on February 8, 1991 under the name Silicon & Synapse by three graduates of UCLA, Michael Morhaime, Allen Adham and Frank Pearce and is currently a subsidiary of American company Activision Blizzard, which... itself is owned by French conglomerate Vivendi SA. Based in Irvine, California, the company originally concentrated primarily on the creation of game ports for other studios before beginning development of their own software in 1993 with the development of games like Rock N' Roll Racing and The Lost Vikings. In 1994 the company became Blizzard Entertainment Inc before being acquired by distributor Davidson & Associates and later by Vivendi. Shortly thereafter, Blizzard shipped their breakthrough hit Warcraft: Orcs and Humans. Blizzard went on to create several successful video games, including the Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo series, and the MMORPG World of Warcraft.
