Game Overview

In the peaceful world of Valdime, humans rarely encountered monsters. That was until Overlord Zenon cursed the land and all who reside within. With the curse in place, the humans became monsters and ravaged the world. It is up to Adell, the last remaining human, to oppose Overlord Zenon’s tyranny and restore peace and harmony to Valdime.

The Good

Deep, rewarding turn-based strategy gameplay can last you dozens of hours, Lighthearted story does a great job of not taking itself seriously, Attractive presentation, featuring nicely drawn artwork and some great voice acting.

The Bad

Recycles a lot of graphics and most everything else from the first Disgaea, Complicated gameplay may overwhelm less-than-hardcore strategy RPG players.

The Bottom Line

Nippon Ichi's followup to the original Disgaea features a story focusing on Adell, who fights to save his family, and Rozalin, the daughter of Zenon. The game includes new battle systems and promises over 100 hours of gameplay.
