In this British comedy series, London's leading surgeon, Dr. Martin, suddenly develops a phobia about blood, and moves to the hamlet of Portwenn. Now a general practitioner, Martin becomes the sleepy little burg's sole physician. But Martin's lack of bedside manners (or any manners at all!) soon puts him at odds with the town's eccentric citizenry, resulting in some difficult, and hilarious, moments. Included here are the first season's six episodes: "Going Bodmin," "Gentlemen Prefer," "Sh*t Happens," "The Portwenn Effect," "Of All the Harbours in All the Towns," and "Haemophobia."
