The Dodge Durango is a full-size sport utility vehicle from the Dodge division of Chrysler. It was introduced in 1998 as a mid-size SUV, a replacement for the Ramcharger which was discontinued in the North American market in 1993. It was redesigned as a full-size SUV for 2004. The hybrid model, which was introduced in October 2008, and its twin, the Chrysler Aspen hybrid, were Chrysler's first production hybrid vehicles.
