Dragon Ball Z: Budokai

Majin Buu , is a fictional supervillain and later superhero who first appears in the Dragon Ball manga created by Akira Toriyama. As the manga was... adapted to anime, it was split into two sub-series; Buu appears in the second sub-series called Dragon Ball Z, and a third anime-only sub-series called Dragon Ball GT. Following the success of Dragon Ball, he also makes a minor reappearance in Toriyama's self-parody called Neko Majin Z. Like many Dragon Ball characters, Buu's name is part of a joke. When placed with his creator Bibidi and his son Babidi, the names phonetically form the phrase, "Bibidi Babidi Buu" — a parody of the song "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo" — featured in Disney's Cinderella. Buu is introduced in the series in chapter #460 Majin Buu's Appearance first published in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on March 14, 1994. Here he is presented as an innocent looking pudgy pink genie-like creature.

Although not their most profitable range, Bandai's 1/48 scale AFV models dominated that segment of the model kit market. Bandai America Inc. was established as local US sales/marketing operation in 1978.

Infogrames Entertainment SA was an international French holding company headquartered in Paris, France. It was the owner of Atari, Inc., headquartered in New York City, U.S. and Atari Europe. It was founded in 1983 by Bruno Bonnell and Christophe Sapet using the proceeds from an introductory... computer book. Through its subsidiaries, Infogrames produced, published and distributed interactive games for all major video game consoles and computer game platforms. The founders wanted to christen the company Zboub Système, but were dissuaded by their legal counsel. According to Bonnell in a TV interview, they then used a mix-and-match computer program to suggest other names, one of which was "Infogramme": a portmanteau of the French words "informatique" and "programme" . The final choice, "Infogrames", was a slightly modified version of that suggestion, and is pronounced /ˌɪnfoʊˈɡræmz/ in English. The company logo is an armadillo , chosen when the company was moved to Villeurbanne. Bonnell commented: "This dinosaur [sic] is our symbol.

The original Atari, Inc. was founded in 1972 by Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney. It was a pioneer in... arcade games, home video game consoles, and home computers. The company's products, such as Pong and the Atari 2600, helped define the computer entertainment industry from the 1970s to the mid 1980s. In 1984, the original Atari Inc. was split, and the arcade division was turned into Atari Games Inc. Atari Games received the rights to use the logo and brand name with appended text "Games" on arcade games, as well as rights to the original 1972 - 1984 arcade hardware properties. The Atari Consumer Electronics Division properties were in turn sold to Jack Tramiel's Tramel Technology Ltd., which then renamed itself to Atari Corporation.
