Constance Marie Lopez is an American actress. Known professionally as Constance Marie, she is known for her role as Angie Lopez on George Lopez and... for her role as Marcella Quintanilla in the 1997 film Selena. She currently portrays Regina Vasquez on the ABC family drama Switched at Birth. Constance Marie grew up in East Los Angeles, California, in a third generation Mexican-American family that moved from apartment to apartment. She was raised by her mother and grandmother. While in her teens she had a passion for dancing and by age 19 she was tapped to dance in a musical called "Cosmopolis" by famed composer Ryuichi Sakamoto in Japan. When she returned to Los Angeles, her dancing career took a huge step when she was spotted in a club by a dance choreographer for pop icon David Bowie. She was chosen out of 500 dancers to tour with David Bowie on his 1987 worldwide Glass Spider Tour. Marie's acting career also began when she was just a teen. She landed a spot in the movie Salsa. Other credits include Early Edition, Dirty Dancing, Selena, Spin City, The Underworld, and Ally McBeal.

Sergio "The Latin Snake" Mora is a Mexican American professional boxer trained by Dean Campos. He is the former WBC Light Middleweight Champion and... also the first champion of NBC's The Contender. Raised without a father, Sergio lived in an East Los Angeles apartment downstairs from the apartment where his mother lived. His boxing will, he hopes, lift him and his family to a better standard of living. Sergio is eloquent and thoughtful, quite against the stereotype of the ghetto he admits to coming from. Sergio is a class of 1997 alumni of Schurr High School in Montebello, California. Shortly after his Contender victory, he was invited to appear onstage at Schurr's June 2005 Renaissance Rally. His nickname refers to his Hispanic origins and his fast hand speed . Dean Campos is the young trainer behind Sergio's unorthodox style of fighting. He is the champion of reality TV show The Contender, initially being a member of the West Coast Team. He fought Najai Turpin in the first round, the boxer who later committed suicide.

Luis Villegas is a Mexican American guitarist best known for his debut CD Cafe Olé which mixed New Age music, flamenco, and jazz and garnered a... spot on the Grammy ballot for Best New Age album of the Year in 1999. He is known for popularizing an unusual technique of playing very fast intricate lines by using the fingernail of his right index finger in place of a guitar pick. He also had a small role, as a member of a band, in the film Collateral starring Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx. EARLY YEARS~~ Luis Villegas is a first-generation Mexican-American born in East Los Angeles, CA and is now an Internationally-renowned guitarist. A self-taught guitarist who plays flamenco, jazz, rock, blues and classical, he grew up listening to traditional Mexican Ranchero music. As a boy, he met the famous Mexican Ranchero singer, Vicente Fernandez, and listened to traditional Mexican ballads. It was not Mexican music, however, that attracted him to the guitar but rock and roll since the heavy metal explosion was in full swing in Los Angeles.

Sebastian Jude is an American actor, most famously known for his recurring role in the Lizzie McGuire Show. He was born on March 16, 1990 in East Los... Angeles, California to Ericka Jude and Zion Jude. Sebastian is of Jewish and Guatemalan decent. Sebastian keeps to himself, he decided to finish school before he continued with his career. He continues to pay his Screen Actors Guild dues and makes his own independent films. He has written a couple of cabaret shows, managed a stage, as well as directed a few plays at his community college. He graduated UCLA as an undergraduate philosophy major . He has future aspirations to get his doctorate in philosophy as well as star and direct films. He has one younger sister. He is also attending Le Cordon Bleu, Los Angeles. He is also a brother of the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity. Sebastian Jude also coined the word: flavorgasm. He cooks and has cooked since he was 6 years old. The food that he and his father makes he claims to be flavorgasmic.

James Costigan was an American television actor and Emmy Award-winning television screenwriter. His writing credited included the Eleanor and... Franklin and Love Among the Ruins television movies. Costigan was born on March 31, 1926, in Belvedere Gardens in East Los Angeles, where his parents owned and operated a hardware store. He first achieved some level of success in the 1950s, when he began being hired to write television anthology series, such as Studio One and Kraft Television Theatre. Costigan won his first Emmy for original teleplay in 1959 for Little Moon of Alban, a segment which appeared as part of the Hallmark Hall of Fame. The segment, which starred Christopher Plummer and Julie Harris, was set during the Irish War of Independence. Costigan earned a second Emmy nomination in for his script adaptation of The Turn of the Screw in 1959. He did not win the award, but acclaimed actress Ingrid Bergman won an Emmy for her performance in The Turn of the Screw. Costigan increasingly began writing for Broadway theater, as the format of television began to change.
