Ed Healey

Edward Francis Healey, Jr. was a professional football player for the Rock Island Independents, and best known with the Chicago Bears. Healey attended both the College of the Holy Cross and Dartmouth College and was a three-year starter in football at Dartmouth. When he heard of the news of a new football league being formed in 1920, he decided to join. He was an all-league pick five times during his eight-year NFL career, as a tackle.
