Edward "Ed" Westwick is an English actor and musician who is best known for his role as Chuck Bass on the CW television drama Gossip Girl. Westwick was born in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, the son of Carole, an educational psychologist, and Peter Westwick, a university lecturer. He grew up in Stevenage and trained at the National Youth Theatre in London. He is a Chelsea F.C. supporter.
