Seattle University is a Jesuit Catholic university located in the First Hill neighbourhood and Squire Park portion of the Central District of Seattle, Washington, USA. SU is the largest independent university in the Northwest US, with over 7,500 students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate... programs within eight schools, and is one of 28 member institutions of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities. U.S. News & World Report, in its "Best Colleges 2011," ranked Seattle University 6th out of schools in the West that offer a full range of master's and undergraduate programs. In 1891, Fathers Victor Garrand, S.J., and Adrian Sweere, S.J., took over a small parish near downtown Seattle at Broadway and Madison. At first, the school was named after the surrounding Immaculate Conception parish and did not offer higher education. In 1898, the school was named Seattle College after both the city and Chief Seattle, and it granted its first bachelor's degrees 11 years later. Initially, the school served as both a high school and college. From 1919 to 1931, the college moved to Interlaken Blvd, but in 1931 it returned to First Hill permanently.

South Amboy is a city in Middlesex County, New Jersey, on the Raritan Bay. As of the 2010 United States Census, the city population was 7,913. South Amboy, and Perth Amboy across the Raritan River, are collectively referred to as The Amboys. Signage for Exit 11 on the New Jersey Turnpike refers to... "The Amboys" as a destination. South Amboy has passed through three of the five types of New Jersey municipalities. It was first mentioned on May 28, 1782 in Freeholder minutes as being formed from Perth Amboy Township, and then formally incorporated as a township on February 21, 1798. Over the next 90 years, portions broke away to form Monroe Township , Madison Township and Sayreville Township . As of February 25, 1888, South Amboy borough was formed, replacing South Amboy Township. On April 11, 1908, South Amboy was incorporated as a city, replacing South Amboy borough, with a referendum held on July 21, 1908.
